Halloween is on my mind.

As you probably know, we recently moved to a small town in NE Texas. This will be our first Halloween living in our new house here, and we aren't sure what to expect when it comes to Trick-or-Treaters. So, we're just planning to have candy ready to hand out.

When we lived in the large, gated apartment complex our first two years in Texas there were literally ZERO kids out trick-or-treating. But last year I went out with my daughter and grandkids into a nice residential area and there were tons of kids and parents. So, we're curious to find out what it will be like on this small street in our sleepy little town.

With that and preparing your home for the fall months in mind, I have a few product recommendations for you!

Mowrator Remote Control Lawn Mowers

Imagine a Remote-Control Lawn Mower that not only mows the lawn for you, but also sucks up all those pesky autumn leaves, and then even dumps the bag for you...automatically! No more raking or spending hours mowing the lawn on your weekends. Sounds like a fantasy, right? Nope! That very machine is already available and at a pretty darn reasonable price. Save $400 on your first purchase with Code: mowrator4wd at check-out. You can thank me later ;)

Hello Pumpkin Spice Candle from SignatureHomestyles

This deluxe Pumpkin Spice candle from Signature HomeStyles Candle Co. will carry you through Halloween and on to Thanksgiving! Hand-poured in the USA, this premium soy wax candle features fragrant oils with notes of pumpkin, sugared orange peel, maple cinnamon, and clove. YUM! Make your home smell warm and inviting for the season.

Pumpkin Spice Biscotti with Walnuts from The Biscotti Company

Candy for trick-or-treaters is one thing, but what about a tasty option to keep on hand for those drop in adult visitors over the holidays? My good friend, Bruno LoGreco's handcrafted, old world style biscotti from The Biscotti Company are reliably delicious. Whether enjoyed by themselves or paired with a hot cup of spiced cider, coffee, or a glass of wine, they are sure to be a hit. His featured flavor for the month of October is, of course, Pumpkin Spice Biscotti with Walnuts.

Spirit Animal Coffee

And speaking of coffee, why not drink a quality cup from Spirit Coffee that is;

* Farm Direct
* Roasted Daily at the Source
* Lab Tested for Toxins
* Creates Local Jobs

I recommend the Bourbon variety, with Tasting Notes of:

  • Cacao
  • Tropical fruits
  • White Wine
  • Hazelnut

And if you want to indulge in a REAL treat, try dipping your quintessentially Italian biscotti cookie into a glass of Italian red wine! This Caparzo Sangiovese 2021 is an excellent choice! Produced by the Caparzo winery in Tuscany, this lovely wine was crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. Featuring elements of ripe blackberries, wild strawberries, and a subtle hint of spice and vanilla, this Sangiovese is full and fruity on the palate. It also pairs perfectly with Italian cuisine, especially pasta dishes, grilled meats, and aged cheeses. And at just $15.50 a bottle right now from Wine.com it's a fantastic bargain!
